This is the story of Caroline and Justin’s Wianno Club wedding. This season I’ve been photographing many Cape Cod weddings, and this was the second weekend in a row that we worked in Osterville. I’m getting to know that area well! It’s especially nice to be on the Cape after Labor Day – when things get quiet. It’s just a different feeling to be there outside of the tourist season, and in some ways I feel like it’s the real Cape Cod. Or at least a side of the Cape that only locals are likely to experience.
Caroline and I had talked quite a bit before her wedding. I think we must have sent, oh…. a bazillion emails to each other. We talked about her wedding and the photography, but we talked about other things too. A few weeks before her wedding, she and Justin and I met in person and talked about everything that they were envisioning. I was excited to finally see everything come together for them on their wedding day.
Caroline and Justin were married at Our Lady Of Victory in Centerville. From the church, we took a trolley to stopped at Four Seas for ice cream. We then headed back to the Wianno Club for portraits, and their cocktail hour and reception.
