An album allows you to experience your photographs and wedding in a tangibly visual way. A wedding album is a family heirloom, and a custom piece of art. All albums are made by hand in the US. About half of my clients (and many parents) receive an album.
If you purchased an album or album credit through your wedding photography package, then we’re ready to go! If an album or credit wasn’t part of your package, then a $500 deposit starts the process.
Step 1: Select Your Designed Spreads
Each album “spread” consists of two pages that connect and lay flat. A 15-spread album will have 30 pages and approximately 45 photographs. Your album can include up to 25 spreads (50 pages).
Within 10 days of emailing you your gallery and download links, I will send you the designed 2-page spreads for your album. The album spreads will be laid out in storyboard fashion so that your wedding day story is told through the book. You can select 15-25 designed spreads (approximately 45-75 photographs) as you’d like to include in your album. I’m also happy to make any customizations and design changes for you.
Step 2: Size & Cover Options
Once you’ve selected your designed spreads you can pick leather or fabric cover options. You also have options for embossing your name and date on the cover. Please pick from the cover materials and standard embossing options. You may also upgrade to a script of your choosing (if you’ve had your names hand lettered for an invitation, etc.) or choose from one of these available script options.
Cameo photo cut outs are also available. Please note that some of the more coarse fabrics (such as Coastal Linens) do not emboss well. In this case, a cover cameo cut out may be a better option for making the cover interesting.
