I always try to tell stories with the photographs. While each image can be viewed standalone, I often like to string them together and find the thread of the wedding story. Photos on my Instagram tend to focus on one to three images. Here you will find wedding photo stories and highlights from my latest work.

These weddings and engagements may appear different, but from wedding to wedding, I do not alter my photographing style. The differences are all in the light, season, and most importantly - the people.

Weddings × November 23, 2020 Boston North End Restaurant Wedding Jessica and Jeff were supposed to have a large wedding. It would happen at one of Boston’s most popular venues, the Boston Public Library, and they booked it far in advance. Then COVID19 happened. With determination and love, they kept their original fall wedding date and instead had their wedding with just 25 of their closest family members and friends. READ MORE Engagements × November 15, 2020 Fall Engagement Session in Boston: Sarita & Samson On the first Saturday morning of November, I woke early to photograph Sarita and Samson’s fall engagement session in Boston. We wanted to be out early, while the morning light was at its best. We knew that it was probably one of the last warm and sunny Saturdays of the year and lots of people would be about, so we photographed while the streets were still quiet. READ MORE Engagements × November 2, 2020 Engaged in Provincetown: David & Patrick I traveled to Provincetown to photograph Dave and Patrick’s engagement session. If you live in Massachusetts or you’ve been to Provincetown, you’ll know why this town is so special. The friendly people, history, natural scenery, creativity, and good vibes are just everywhere. READ MORE Weddings × October 20, 2020 Cape Cod Backyard Wedding One thing I’ve learned during this pandemic is that where there is a will to be married, there is a way. I’ve been touched by how people are finding ways to make life work and safe ways of celebrating together. Quarantining together this spring in a family home on the Cape, J&J decided to get married. They contacted me over the summer and said that their Cape Cod wedding would happen in the fall. They worked out dates with family and key vendors, and decided on a backyard wedding at the end of September. We even had our photo planning call, where we talked about their Harvard Art Museum wedding and having their first look somewhere along the Charles River. As the summer wore on we realized that their big museum wedding with so many guests wouldn’t be happening this year... READ MORE Weddings × September 29, 2020 Small Beach Wedding 2020: Falmouth Kayla and Peter’s wedding was originally going to take place at Blithewold Mansion in Rhode Island. By mid-spring, we knew that the big party would have to be put on hold. However they still wanted to be married in 2020 and to be able to share that moment with their immediate family and closest friends. READ MORE Weddings × September 16, 2020 Small Wedding 2020: Boston North End Alanna and Joey had planned on a big, 200-person wedding in Seattle. Their plans changed with the COVID19 pandemic, and they instead ended up having a 10-person wedding in the city where they met: Boston. Their wedding day was something of an adventure - with portraits around North End, pizza on the street, and one of the most gorgeous sunsets.... READ MORE Boston × September 3, 2020 Backyard Wedding 2020: Jennifer & Welles Like so many 2020 couples, their wedding plans took an unexpected turn because of the COVID19 pandemic. When they originally booked me for their Boston Public Library wedding, little did we know that we would soon be in the middle of a history-making moment in time.  READ MORE Bridals × January 26, 2020 Boston Public Library Bride Just a single frame from a recent wedding at the Boston Public Library. Over the past eleven years, I've photographed more weddings at the library more than any other venue. I'll be back at the BPL this year.  READ MORE Weddings × December 16, 2019 Woods Hole Golf Club Wedding: Kirstin & Anderson This fall I photographed Kirstin & Anderson's Woods Hole Golf Club wedding.
