Tate and Ian were married in Boston this winter. Their Harvard Club of Boston wedding took place in February. Tate got ready at her parents’ house and Ian got ready with his groomsmen at the Harvard Club. Dani Wagener did Tate’s makeup and Lindsay Griffin was the hair stylist.
One of the most fun aspects of shooting this wedding was being able to use my new medium format digital camera. Paired with my Zeiss Contax 645 Planar T* 2.0 lens…. well, I’ll let some of Tate’s portraits speak for themselves. I’m excited to be introducing a few different photography tools this year. Some are old classics such as the Zeiss, and some will be new. But they will all hopefully lend interest to the photographs.
MIT Chapel Ceremony
After seeing each other on Commonwealth Ave., Tate and Ian headed to the Harvard Club for more portraits and group photos with friends and family. Their wedding ceremony took place at the MIT Chapel, which I have probably photographed more ceremonies at than any other chapel or church.
Harvard Club of Boston Wedding
The Harvard Club of Boston was magnificent in winter. With roaring fireplaces and candelabras on long tables, guests were treated to an elegant winter party. Marc Hall Design did an incredible job with the florals and decor. Alisha Fuller of Without A Hitch Boston coordinated the day. The Boston-based band Search Party provided music. Special thanks to second photographer Lindsay Flanagan, who never ceases to calm me at weddings and amaze me with her photographs.
