Louise and Matt were married in October at St. Ignatius Church in Boston. They had their reception at the Four Seasons Boston Hotel, where I have photographed many weddings. Theirs was the second wedding ceremony this year that I’ve photographed at St. Ignatius in Chestnut Hill. At the last wedding, I noticed that the priest looked very familiar. As I was working on the photos later at home, I realized it was Fr. MacMillan from way, way back in my high school days at Bishop Connolly High School in Fall River! It’s so much fun to run into familiar faces at weddings.
I met up with Louise and Matt for an engagement photo session shortly before their wedding. We had fun walking around Beacon Hill and the Back Bay, and we even stopped in at the Four Seasons. On their wedding day, Matt got ready at the Four Seasons while Louise got ready at her parents’ home.
