This is the photo story of Shaina and Matt’s Fairmont Copley Plaza wedding. One Saturday in late September, Shaina and Matt were married at one of my favorite hotels in Boston: the Fairmont Copley Plaza. After a first look outside the hotel, we walked around Copley Plaza for more portraits with Shaina and Matt. This was the same area where we photographed their engagement session last October.
A Fairmont Copley Plaza Wedding
The wedding party joined us for portraits in the hotel’s lobby. We then hopped on a trolley and headed to the Commonwealth Ave. Mall area. We took more portraits at the Comm Ave. Mall, and then were joined by Shaina and Matt’s family for family portraits back at the Fairmont and outside the Boston Public Library. After their ketubah signing, the ceremony began in the hotel’s Oval Room.
Cocktail hour happened in the hotel’s salon, followed by their wedding reception in the Oval Room. During cocktail hour, the hotel transformed the Oval Room room for dinner and dancing. One of the best horah dances took place that night, along with some wonderful toasts and lots of crazy dancing fun.
