This gorgeous tented wedding at the Chatham Bars Inn was originally planned for last year. Like so many couples, Kerrie and Xave waited until summer 2021 so that they could celebrate with their larger group of family and friends. With breathtaking floral installations by Designers Touch adorning a Sperry Tent, this wedding was certainly worth the wait. Beautifully planned by Danielle Elder of Classic Events NYC, their ceremony took place at St. Joan of Arc Church in Orleans, with cocktails and reception at the Inn.
Chatham Bars Inn Tented Wedding
I photograph many weddings at the Chatham Bars Inn, with some of the larger ones being in the tent on the lawn. This is a wonderful option for couples who have a large number of guests. I love how the tent is transformed from day to night, in this case with glowing hanging lanterns. You’ll see in these photos how at night, the entire tent becomes sort of a lantern on the lawn, illuminated by interior colored lights. Guests danced the night away to the music of The Sultans. The evening ended with a confetti toss exit by the couple.
