It was more than two years from the time that I first met Julie and Dave until their wedding celebration at The State Room. Originally slated for 2020, the couple postponed their larger celebration until 2021 when they could celebrate with an extended group of family and friends. The theme was modern, clean, city-chic, tropical, which shown throughout their chose of hotel, flowers, and decor. The day was beautifully coordinated by Kristyn Kerkorian of K. Kerkorian Events.
State Room Wedding
After getting ready at The Intercontinental Hotel, the couple had their first look just outside the hotel. Like so much weather we’ve had at summer weddings in the Northeast this year, rain was threatening but turned out to be just a scare. We traveled over to the State Room for more portraits, along with their ceremony and party. Guests were treated to music by Ripcord wedding band. As night fell, a full moon – turned red by the fires burning in Canada – shone outside the window in the Boston skyline.
Julie and Dave put together a truly amazing team of vendors, highlighted below. To view photos from this modern, city wedding at The State Room, click on any photo to enlarge.
