Jessica and Steve were married this fall at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston. It was a rainy day, but the weather didn’t deter from one of the happiest days at the Four Seasons.
One of my favorite parts of the day was the badeken — a traditional Jewish veiling ceremony. Before standing together under the chuppah and after being greeted and congratulated by well wishers, Steve placed the veil over Jessica’s face. It was a beautiful moment, followed by their rabbi leading guests in happy singing. Their 25 minute Horah dance – yes, 25 minutes! – was up there as far as my wedding season’s most fun dance celebrations.
