I recently met up with Joann and Jason for their engagement session in the Boston Public Garden. I’ve photographed so many weddings and engagement sessions in the Public Garden, and it’s nice to see how the landscape changes through the seasons. I anticipate the first week in October when the red berries are ripe on the waterside trees, and the first weekend in May when the cherry blossoms open. I have so many memories of walking these paths with couples throughout the past seven years. For Joann and Jason’s engagement photography session, the willows were just touched with green leaves and the magnolias were preparing to open. It’s a beautiful and hopeful time of year, especially after Boston’s historic snowy winter.
Joann and Jason will be married in just a few weeks at the Villa at the Ridder Country Club in Bridgewater, Mass.
